Hello, my name is Michelle. And I'm an over-sharer.

So if I'm an over-sharer, why write? I got that question when I revealed to a small group that I was going to start blogging. Specifically from my mother, in her not so subtle style. She felt that it was too personal, and as she knows her middle daughter frequently says entirely too much almost ALL of the time, she was probably rightfully concerned. Who knows what crazy family information I'll blurt out. Could happen anytime.

But no, over-sharing is exactly why I decided to write. I'm a flake, and it's one of my favorite things about myself. Must drive other people nutty though. And by flaky, I mean I'm bouncing from one thing to the next constantly, trying something new or just trying to shove more useless information into my red-head. Frankly, the only time this information has been helpful thus far  is during Cash Cab, Teen Jeopardy Week or when friends ask me for advice. Out of the friends-asking-advice part is how this blog was born. My two closest friends suggested that some of my experiences, outlook and lessons learned the hard way would be neat for people to read, or at the very least funny at my own expense. And I'm alright with that.

So what might this blog include moving forward? Other then the useless knowledge previously mentioned? Entirely too much mention of my kids and cats? Perhaps. Random thoughts? absolutely. But in addition, I guarantee there will be my favorite things in addition to my kids and cats.  So, insight on my epiphany moment in my life, my heroes, my travels past and future, gardening tips and pictures, recipes and cooking, natural health, sustainability, my goal to leave the grid and live off the land as much as possible, simplistic living and the rest is a well-kept secret. Well, really I'm just not sure and I fear committment so I'm going to go with well-kept secret.
